LoRa Antenna is a 433MHz and 868–920MHz industrial IoT RF external rod antenna designed for long-range spread spectrum communication.

Developed by Qianmu Communication, this antenna adopts a split external rod structure that can be flexibly installed on device housings, poles, and boxes, reducing signal shielding loss caused by metal shells, walls, and mainboards.

It uses a one-piece molded pure copper oscillator and weather-resistant PVC housing, accurately covering the 433MHz low band and global 868–920MHz ISM band.

With stable batch performance, the LoRa Antenna is suitable for long-distance low-power IoT networking projects.

Working Principle

Qianmu Communication 433/868–920MHz LoRa Antenna uses a segmented resonant oscillator design combined with omnidirectional RF radiation to achieve long-distance signal transmission and reception.

The internal structure includes an RF connector, impedance matching oscillator, isolation shielding layer, and waterproof protective housing. All performance parameters are tested by the company's RF laboratory using a vector network analyzer.

1. Dual-Band Segmented Resonance Design

The antenna integrates two independently matched oscillators for the 433MHz low-frequency band and 868–920MHz ISM band. The measured full-band VSWR is ≤1.3, ensuring stable resonance across both frequency ranges.

One antenna supports two mainstream LoRa communication bands without requiring separate inventory.

2. 360° Omnidirectional Radiation Design

The symmetrical rod-shaped oscillator structure provides uniform horizontal radiation with fluctuation of ≤1dB and reduces signal blind spots.

Under the same transmission power, the measured transmission distance in an open area is 2.8 times longer than that of a device built-in antenna, supporting multi-directional device networking without signal imbalance.

3. Metal Shielding and Anti-Interference Structure

Copper shielding rings are integrated into the antenna base to reduce electromagnetic interference from gateway mainboards, industrial motors, and power supply cables.

In strong interference environments such as factories and substations, measured data packet loss is reduced by 65%, ensuring stable IoT data transmission.

4. Outdoor Weather-Resistant Structure

The antenna adopts a thickened PVC waterproof housing with sealed rubber gaskets. It has passed 72-hour cyclic aging tests and rainwater resistance tests from -40°C to +70°C.

The oscillator remains protected from oxidation, with frequency deviation within ≤±2MHz, maintaining stable outdoor performance.

5. 50Ω Standard Impedance Matching

The antenna uses precise factory impedance adjustment and supports standard RF interfaces for LoRa devices.

For indoor dry rooms and offices, standard models can be selected according to application conditions.

For outdoor farmland, municipal street lamps, and coastal high-humidity or high-salt environments, choose IP65 waterproof and weather-resistant models to prevent water ingress and failure.
