The coin antenna is a compact circular cylindrical external RF antenna with a button-like shape. It features a low-profile design and is a lightweight signal transceiver solution for small wireless devices.

Qianmu Communication's self-developed button rubber rod antenna adopts one-piece injection molding and sealing technology. It integrates a full copper resonant element and a metal reflective shielding layer at the bottom.

Equipped with a standard SMA threaded interface, it can be easily mounted and locked onto the device housing surface. Compared with slender rubber rod antennas and built-in PCB antennas, it offers a more compact and discreet design with a waterproof sealed structure suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.

How it works

The coin antenna relies on an internal double-layer ring copper oscillator to achieve dual-band radio frequency transmission and reception, and the button base integrates a metal reflective layer to gather the signal for 360° planar omnidirectional radiation:

1. Layered oscillator independent resonance: The upper layer is matched with 2.4GHz Bluetooth /ZigBee, and the lower layer is matched with 5.8GHz high-speed WiFi. Measured full band standing wave ≤1.35, no band fault;

2. Base shielding and anti-interference: The bottom metal reflective layer isolates electromagnetic interference from the device's main board, lithium battery, and metal casing, and the measured signal strength of the metal box device increases by 38%;

3. Sealed constant-temperature structure: One-piece injection-molded waterproof housing, with 72-hour cycle aging at -35 °C to +70 °C, frequency point drift in long-term temperature difference environment ≤±2MHz;

4. Factory uniform calibration of 50Ω standard RF impedance reduces signal reflection loss, lowers device power consumption and extends terminal life; All gain, standing wave, and radiation efficiency values can be remeasured and verified in the laboratory anechoic chamber, and there are no false parameters.
